“Come & Go” is also the fourth song to debut at No. 1 on Streaming Songs in 2020 and first since 6ix9ine’s “Gooba” in May.
Juice WRLD and Marshmello’s “Come & Go” becomes the fourth song to debut at No. 1 on Billboard’s Streaming Songs chart in 2020, ruling the list dated July 25.
“Come & Go” bows with 36.4 million U.S. streams earned in its first full tracking week (ending July 16), according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.
The song follows Drake’s “Toosie Slide,” The Scotts, Travis Scott and Kid Cudi’s “The Scotts” and 6ix9ine’s “Gooba” as No. 1 Streaming Songs debuts in 2020, equaling the amount of No. 1 debuts achieved in 2017 and 2019. Only 2018, which saw 11 debuts atop the list, had more.
“Come & Go” is Juice WRLD’s third Streaming Songs leader, following the two-week reign of “Lucid Dreams” in June/October 2018 and one-week leader “Bandit,” with YoungBoy Never Broke Again, in November 2019. It’s his first song to debut atop the list, exceeding a pair of No. 2 starts (“Bandit” and, earlier this year, “Righteous”).
Meanwhile, it’s Marshmello’s first Streaming Songs No. 1, following the No. 2 peak of “Happier,” with Bastille, in February 2019.
Songs from Juice WRLD’s new album Legends Never Die take eight of the top 10 spots on Streaming Songs, making the late rapper/singer the fifth act to claim at least eight of the chart’s top 10 in a single week. The Weeknd (April 4, 2020), Lil Uzi Vert (March 21, 2020) and Post Malone (May 12, 2018) also snagged eight, while Drake holds the all-time record with nine entries toward the list dated July 14, 2018.
Following “Come & Go,” “Wishing Well,” “Conversations” and “Hate the Other Side,” the latter also with Marshmello and featuring Polo G and The Kid Laroi, round out the chart’s top five at Nos. 3-5, while “Life’s a Mess,” with Halsey, “Blood on My Jeans,” “Titanic” and “Righteous” also reach the top 10 at Nos. 6, 8, 9 and 10, respectively.
“Come & Go” also rules the newly created Alternative Streaming Songs chart, Juice WRLD and Marshmello’s first No. 1 on that list in its seventh week of existence.
The song starts at No. 2 on the streaming-, airplay- and sales-based Billboard Hot 100, and Legends Never Die concurrently bows at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 497,000 equivalent album units earned.
