Hey Titans fans: Super Bowl LVI will be played on Feb. 13 in Inglewood, Calif.

Why it matters: We point out these details for planning purposes, because this could very well be the Titans' best shot at a Super Bowl since their championship run 21 years ago ended on the Rams' 1-yard line.

Driving the news: In the span of four weeks, the Titans have also defeated the reigning AFC champion Chiefs and the current odds-on favorite Bills.

With the rigorous part of the schedule out of the way, the Titans now have a clear path to the AFC's top seed and only playoff bye.
With superstar Derrick Henry likely sidelined through the regular season with a foot injury, the new winning formula has been the sturdy quarterback play of Ryan Tannehill and an emerging defense.

What they're saying: Let the experts explain why dreaming of the Super Bowl isn't merely Axios Nashville hype.

ESPN NFL insider Field Yates reported Monday that only three other teams in the last 15 years have won four straight games against opponents that made the playoffs the previous season. All three of those teams reached the Super Bowl.
"The Titans keep on rising to the challenge," Yates tweeted.
After watching the Titans drub the Rams, Tennessean sports columnist Gentry Estes concluded, "I’m not sure what else needs to happen for the Titans to be respected as a legitimate contender to return to this stadium in early 2022 for the Super Bowl."

Yes, but: The impressive wins haven't completely persuaded sportsbooks.

Although the Titans' Super Bowl odds have improved immensely since Week 1, from +3,000 to +1,000, they are still behind the Bills (+600) for the most likely AFC squad to win the Super Bowl, according to DraftKings.
