SERIES HISTORY:
Northern Kentucky leads the series 17-4-4. The series dates back all the way to 1986 when both clubs played in the NCAA Division II as member of the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The two teams played as non-league opponents from 2012 to 2019, with the 'Dons pulling out shutouts in 2016 and 2018 with ties in 2013 and 2014.
