The hit League of Legends TV series ‘Arcane’ made its debut on November 6, receiving a strong response from fans, who just saw the launch of Act 2 last week. The animated show has been taking Netflix by storm, with season one coming to an end soon.
Arcane Act 3 to be released Nov. 20
The series from French production company Fortiche is set to premiere the final three episodes that make up Act 3 on November 20. Unlike other Netflix series, the animated series comes out in three-episode bunches weekly, making up an Act. Act 1 started on November 6, Act 2 continued on November 13, and Act 3 wraps season one up this Saturday.
Will Netflix or Riot Games surprise fans by confirming the release of season two?
Riot Games, the most player-focused game developer in the world, published League of Legends in 2009, and have not officially confirmed the release of season two. Neither has Netflix or Fortiche Production company.
However, to the liking of many fans, the President of Riot Entertainment, Shauna Spenley, hinted that there is “more to come” from the team as they “step into live-action and other stories”.
“I don’t think Hollywood realizes how massive this [Arcade] is," Spenley told the Los Angeles Times.

As it is hard to predict whether season two will be released at some point in time or not, we imagine that the income generated across Riot’s titles, and number of streams on Netflix could affect the season’s launch. Fans around the world will have to wait for the series finale and any coming announcements.
