The Baltimore Ravens went through another training camp practice on Tuesday, but this one had a different feel to it. After days of ramp up, players were able suit up in pads, which meant the physicality and intensity of practice would be much higher.

With pads on, the fireworks were certainly there on Tuesday. Multiple dust-ups occured over the course of practice, with rookie fullback Ben Mason in the middle of them.

Now that pads are back on, practices will begin to look and feel a bit more like an NFL game. Players begin to want to hit after running through plays without any physicality, and they now have that ability. In terms of teammates fighting, dust-ups and scuffles in practices usually don’t mean much, if anything at all. They’re not uncommon, and are a sign that practice is intense and they’re invested. Over the course of the next few weeks, it will be interesting to see who begins to stand out with a physicality element added into things, as a lot is on the line for many players.
