ORLANDO, Fla. – Just as our lawns were starting to smile again, the widespread rain of the past few days will be shutting off for a time. Other than a few storms Sunday, most of Central Florida will be dry.
Highs will top out around 90 degrees under a partly cloudy sky. The highest rain and storms chances will be along and to the west of Interstate 4 and especially along Interstate 75.

Central Florida won’t be completely dry over the next week, but rain will be hard to find. Rain chances stand at about 20% each day until Friday. Highs will hover around 90 degrees, closing in on the mid 90s again late week.
Beach Forecast:
Most of the day is dry with partly cloudy skies as the East Coast sea breeze keeps a few storms inland. Highs top out in the mid 80s. There is a moderate risk for rip currents Sunday. There will continue to be clouds at times along the East Coast beaches.
Tropics update:
The tropics continue to be extremely quiet! No new development is expected over the next five days.
