Two well-known Syracuse businesses are partnering on a new company that would distribute and sell meat products throughout the state.
Daniel Palladino, who owns and operates Heritage Hill Farm and its brewhouse/restaurant in Pompey, is joining with Jeff Steigerwald of Liehs & Steigerwald in the new venture. Chuck Madonna, co-owner with Steigerwald, also will be part of the venture.
The two are proposing to construct a new 10,000-square-foot two-story plant that would process, package and distribute meats. It would be located at Heritage Hill Farm. Palladino said he would replace the silver barn next to the brewhouse with the new building.
