West Virginia has added nine additional players to its 2021 football roster, with a handful more expected over the next few weeks.
Enrolling in school and arriving on campus recently were scholarship freshmen Aubrey Burks, Ja’Corey Hammett, Justin Johnson, Saint McLeod, Wyatt Milum and Hammond Russell IV. They are joined by transfers Lance Dixon (Penn State) and Charles Woods (Illinois State).
Walk-on Bryce Biggs also joined the group in enrolling recently.
Among those expected to enroll at WVU in the near future are running back Jaylen Anderson, defensive back Caleb Coleman and offensive lineman Tomas Rimac. Coleman just completed his junior college career this past weekend, contributing a tackle from his cornerback position as his Hutchinson Blue Dragons defeated Snow College, 29-27, for the NJCAA National Championship on Saturday.
Rimac was also in competition of a different sort over the weekend, and he also brought home a title with a win in the Ohio Division I State Discus Championship.
